Cyber Security Week 2018
The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) collaborates with Hong Kong Police Force, Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre, professional organisations and industry to feature a series of fascinating events, including cyber security seminar and Video Ad Contest for the wider community to participate. The Cyber Security Week 2018 aims to promote cyber security for businesses, schools and the general public to let them perceive the cyber security risks are close at hand and grasp the knowledge and skills to protect themselves while using the Internet.
Besides, OGCIO keeps on strengthening information sharing with various parties and industry stakeholders. With an aim to enhance the exchange of cyber security information with the industry and enterprises to jointly defend against cyber attacks, OGCIO launched the Pilot Partnership Programme for Cyber Security Information Sharing – “Cybersec Infohub” (www.cybersechub.hk) in September 2018.
OGCIO also encourages the industry players to enhance their connections and exchanges in the Mainland or overseas through participating various events such as 2018 China Cybersecurity Week.
